BARACK OBAMA v AMERICA - Barack Obama Comes Out Against the First Amendment Once again, the authoritarian heart of the Left is revealed.

WE CLEARLY KNOW THAT THE TECH BILLIONAIRES HAVE ALL SECRETLY ASSAULTED FREE SPEECH AND CONCEALED THE CRIMES OF THE DEMOCRAT PARTY. THEIR PAYBACK WAS TO LIFT ALL CAPS ON IMPORTING 'CHEAP' VISA PEOPLE WHICH NOW MAKE UP MORE THAN 70% OF SILICON VALLEY'S WORKFORCE.

Nothing I'd said in my climate videos was wrong. In one case, Facebook's own fact-checker admitted that I didn't get any facts wrong. Still, Facebook continues to smear my work as "partly false."

Analysis conducted last year reveal that 71 percent of tech workers in Silicon Valley are foreign-born, while the tech industry in the San Francisco, Oakland, and Hayward area is made up of 50 percent foreign-born tech workers.

Despite his Wall Street, big business, Big Tech, and billionaire donations, Biden has attempted to portray himself as a small-town fighter from Scranton, Pennsylvania

By failures of border security, a lack of the enforcement of our immigration laws from within  the interior of the United States and huge numbers of visas for high tech workers, the lives and livelihoods of Americans and their children, are being stolen by America’s corrupt political elite who are doing the bidding of those who provide them with huge “Campaign Contributions” (Orwellian euphemism for bribes) pursue legislation that is diametrically opposed to the best interests of America and Americans.

Barack Obama Comes Out Against the First Amendment

Once again, the authoritarian heart of the Left is revealed.

One would think that a former president of the United States would be a staunch defender of the First Amendment. When it comes to Barack Obama, however, you’d think wrong. Obama spoke Wednesday at an event sponsored by The Atlantic and the University of Chicago’s Institute of Politics, “Disinformation and the Erosion of Democracy.” In the course of a long and rambling discussion with The Atlantic’s Jeffrey Goldberg, Obama called for government control over the Internet in order to stem the “demand for crazy” that was spreading what he called “disinformation.” As Leftists always do, Obama claimed that this “disinformation” was threatening “our democracy,” that is, the Left’s political and cultural hegemony.

Obama first insisted, with his characteristic near-incoherence: “I am close to a First Amendment absolutist. I believe in the idea of not just free speech, but also that you deal with bad speech with good speech, that you engage, um, that, that, that, that the exceptions to that are very narrow, um, and, and, and, y’know, particularly, uh, among this cohort of folks in college, and I’ve talked to my daughters about this, um, y’know, I don’t want us to be such a society of manners that, like, we can’t, we feel like our feelings are hurt and we can’t hear something that, uh, somebody says, and, and, and we wilt. Uh, I think, uh, I want us all as citizens to be in the habit of being able to hear stuff that we disagree with and be able to answer with our words.” His First Amendment absolutism, however, only went so far.

After a good bit more rambling, Obama got around to asserting that in order to limit the spread of what he called “toxic information,” it would be “reasonable for us as a society to have a debate, and then to put in place a combination of regulatory measures and, uh, industry norms, uh, that leave intact the opportunity for these platforms to make money, but say to them that, there, there, there’s certain practices that we are not, that we don’t think are good for our society and we’re gonna discourage.” There goes the First Amendment.

This is because, he explained, “I do think that there is a demand for crazy on the internet that we have to grapple with,” and that this involves “a systematic effort to either promote false information, to suppress true information, for the purpose of political gain, financial gain, enhancing power, suppressing others, targeting those you don’t like.” Among these, “Roughly 40 percent of the country appears convinced that the current president was elected fraudulently and that the election was rigged,” and 30-35% reject the “medical miracle” of vaccines. It was important, Obama said, to reassert “the value of, y’know, expertise and, uh, science.”

Sure. But it’s remarkable that Obama would be calling for “regulatory measures” to combat “disinformation” right after the Hunter Biden laptop story, which the news organizations Obama would tout as the most reliable dismissed as disinformation for a year and a half, has now been definitively acknowledged to be true. Does Obama’s sumptuous new beachfront mansion in Hawaii not have the Internet hooked up yet? Has he really not heard about this, or does he really think that we haven’t?

The Hunter Biden laptop is the clearest indication that regulatory measures designed to protect the public from “disinformation” can prevent the public from learning genuine and important information that is inconvenient to those who have the power to enable that information to be labeled “disinformation.” If Obama is really as “close to a First Amendment absolutist” as he claims to be, he should acknowledge that there have been many other cases lately in which what was dismissed as “disinformation” turned out to be absolutely true, including the discounting and later verification of the claim that the COVID virus originated with a lab leak in Wuhan, China.

If the government had regulatory measures in place controlling “disinformation,” we might still not know about Hunter’s laptop, or the 10% he set aside for “The Big Guy” from his influence-peddling, or how the COVID virus originated, or about a host of other issues. Nowadays the guardians of acceptable opinion are flagging as “disinformation” any assertions that men are men and women are women and that one cannot turn into the other. How is that going to look once a bit of sanity returns to society?

Obama, the self-proclaimed near-absolutist on free speech should know all this and should have explained it to Goldberg. Instead, he once again revealed the authoritarian heart of the establishment Left.

According to Peter Schweizer's new book Profiles in Corruption, Joe Biden met with the President of Costa Rica in 2009 and a few months later news broke of a "new multilateral partnership, 'to reform real estate in Latin America.'" Biden's brother, Frank, envisioned a huge development project with "thousands of homes, a world-class golf course, casinos, and an anti-aging center," in the Costa Rican jungle.[2]

Never Admit Anything

The popular and overused Biden mantra.

President Joe Biden says he never talked business with his son.

Maybe he didn't.

Maybe that Ukrainian gas company paid Hunter Biden half a million dollars because he has unique business skills that no one else noticed.

It's possible.

But unlikely.

Now a Justice Department investigation may tell us whether Hunter is a sleazy opportunist who broke the law and whether his father knew, or even helped.

But equally revealing is the arrogance and bias the reporting on Hunter's laptop revealed among wide swaths of media and big tech gatekeepers.

Even today, most will not admit they were wrong.

The New York Post broke the laptop story near the end of the presidential campaign. The story was explosive, of course, and the media pile-on intense. Some piled on Hunter Biden, but more piled on the New York Post. They questioned the authenticity of the hard drive and the timing and accuracy of the story.

Twitter blocked the story from even being shared. Facebook hid the story. Politico said it might be "Russian disinformation." A Washington Post column called it "laughably weak." A New York Times piece labeled it "farcical retread of the Russian hack-and-leak operation that helped torpedo Hillary Clinton's presidential aspirations." The story was mocked and buried.

Now, a year and a half later, the Post and Times admit that major parts of the story were accurate.

Do you know what they haven't said?

"Sorry. We cannot stand the idea of another Trump term, so we didn't report on bad things Democrats did."

The Washington Post finally wrote that the way the media handled the story was an "opportunity for a reckoning." But then they spent the rest of their editorial making excuses for their mistakes.

No one was fired.

No one was suspended.

No policy was changed.

This is nothing new. For months, Facebook blocked any mention of the theory that COVID-19 may have been leaked from a lab. Most media sneered that it was "fake news." The Washington Post called it "a fringe theory." The New York Times, a "conspiracy theory." PolitiFact rated it "Pants on Fire!"

Only when the Biden administration said there might have been a lab leak did Facebook drop its censorship.

Did Facebook say, "Sorry? We shouldn't censor such important discussion?"

No.

Did we see apologetic commentaries on CNN and MSNBC?

I must have missed them.

Maybe none of this is a big deal to you, but it's a big deal to me.

I make my living posting videos on digital platforms. I made two videos that suggested fears about climate change are overblown.

I didn't say climate change isn't real.

I didn't say it won't cause problems. In fact, I said it's already caused problems.

But because I said the fear might be overblown, Facebook's climate-activist "fact-checkers" make sure fewer people see my work.

I once got millions of views on Facebook. Not anymore.

Nothing I'd said in my climate videos was wrong. In one case, Facebook's own fact-checker admitted that I didn't get any facts wrong. Still, Facebook continues to smear my work as "partly false."

They even quote me saying something I never said!

Yet even after I point that out, Facebook will not make a correction.

Facebook, Twitter, The New York Times, The Washington Post, CNN, NBC, Poynter Institute "fact-checkers" and most of the elite media are now part information-sharers, part leftist interest groups.

I'm neither Democrat nor Republican. I don't obsess over whether Hunter Biden got paid to do sleazy things and whisper in his father's ear. If he did, I doubt that he had much influence, anyway.

I feel far more threatened when America's Big Media don't report facts, don't speak up when censors are wrong and don't remove mistakes when they're caught making them.

Apologizing for mistakes is something we teach little kids to do. Is that too much to ask of our media and social media giants?

Zuckerberg’s FWD.us Claims No Amnesty Ensures Midterm Defeat for Democrats

The Facebook-funded FWD.us investor advocacy group is touting the claim that Democrat turnout will drop in 2022 if the party cannot pass an amnesty through Congress.

But that claim is toothless, in large part because recent polls show that many Americans of Latino ancestry are increasingly voting for the GOP, precisely because GOP leaders oppose the amnesty-amplified wave of cheap labor into their communities.

The claim is being made by pro-migration groups, including the leaders of the National Day Laborer Organizing Network (NDLON) which denounced the Senate’s parliamentarian’s decision to exclude the parole amnesty for 6.5 million illegals from the draft Build Back Better spending plan.

NDLON declared Thursday night:

Democrats’ excuses for their failure, for their incompetence, and for their insincerity will be the ammunition used by xenophobes in the Republican Party to retake control of the federal government in upcoming elections. Inaction on immigration legalization risks further propelling Trumpism in every possible way … No more excuses. Where there is a will, there is a way.

The NDLON group represents illegal migrants, most of whom work for very low wages, and none of whom can vote in U.S. elections.

Rep. Lou Correa (D-Calif.) is making the same claim, according to Bloomberg, which reported that he “warned that Democrats would face wrath from voters in the 2022 elections if they don’t secure a citizenship path”

But the NDLON claim is being echoed by the politically powerful investor class, who use imported workers, consumers, and renters to spike the value of their Wall Street investments.

Todd Schulte is the president of the FWD.us advocacy group for investors, which gets about $30 million a year from the Chan Zuckerberg Initiative to push for more migration. On Thursday night, he tweeted:

Schulte’s deputy also pushed a hard line:

Unsurprisingly, FWD.us has a hidden agenda in the amnesty debate.

The establishment media extensively cover the proposed parole amnesty for 6.5 million illegal migrants. But the media largely ignores  two other proposed changes to immigration laws that would deliver huge benefits to West Coast investors who created the FWD.us advocacy group in 2013.

For example, the BBB legislation would allow the White House to provide green cards to millions of favored migrants, including perhaps three million “chain migrants” selected by recent immigrants. This open-doors policy would provide investors with millions of new profit-generating consumers, renters, and workers.

The BBB legislation would also allow President Joe Biden’s pro-migration deputies to sell green cards to at least one million migrants who have taken many of the Fortune 500 jobs sought by skilled U.S. college graduates. This change would allow Fortune 500 companies to hire many more foreign graduates with dangled offers of fast-track green cards. These workers are usually imported via the visa worker programs, such as the H-1B and Optional Practical Training program.

But those two benefits for the Fortune 500 investors may be dropped if the Democrat senators cannot also get their amnesty for illegal migrants.

On Friday, an advocacy group for corporate-funded immigration lawyers urged Congress to keep pushing the green card giveaway, even after the amnesty was nixed:

“The corporate guys are riding on perceived sympathy for the illegal alien population in order to get their immigration giveaways,” said Robert Law, the director of regulatory affairs and policy at the Center for Immigration Studies. He continued:

The Hispanic population knows immigration is a pocketbook issue for them as well, and mass illegal immigration — plus legal immigration — hurts the economic opportunities of Hispanic Americans or the black community, or any people who typically are competing at the lower end of the economic spectrum.

The Senate’s debate referee has not issued any judgments on the two green card proposals.

Zuckerberg’s FWD.us network of coastal investors stands to gain from more cheap labor, government-aided consumers, and urban renters. The network has funded many astroturf campaigns, urged Democrats to not talk about the economic impact of migration, and manipulated coverage by the TV networks and the print media.

FWD.us’also spotlights many family dramas amid the inflow of border migrants. This focus helps keep reporters from recognizing the huge pocketbook impact of the establishment’s economic policy of mass migration. The resulting family-drama coverage also keeps many young progressives from noticing that the extraction migration policy drives up their rents and cuts their salaries.

The breadth of investors who founded and funded FWD.us was hidden from casual visitors to the group’s website sometime in the last few months. But copies exist at other sites.

Bidens Chief of Staff Worked on Behalf of Big Tech for Endless H-1B Visas

JOHN BINDER

Democrat Joe Biden has chosen Ronald Klain to be his chief of staff should he enter the White House in January. Klain worked on behalf of Silicon Valley executives and their interests, which include providing tech corporations with an endless supply of H-1B foreign visa workers and more free trade.

Klain, who was made Biden’s incoming chief of staff this week, served on the executive council of TechNet — a firm that promotes the interests of Silicon Valley’s tech corporations in Washington, D.C. Klain served on the council alongside executives from the Oracle Corporation, Hewlett-Packard Enterprise, Google, Visa, Apple, and Microsoft.

TechNet, most recently, joined a lawsuit against President Trump’s reforms to the H-1B visa program that sought to prioritize unemployed Americans for jobs rather than allowing businesses to continue importing foreign workers.

TechNet is one of the groups that has filed an amicus brief to oppose the new regulations on H-1B visas. https://t.co/ofY4GJ2sVR

— U.S. Tech Workers (@USTechWorkers) November 12, 2020

Trump’s seeking to force businesses to hire Americans over importing foreign visa workers is an affront to Silicon Valley’s tech corporations, those represented by TechNet, who advocate for an endless flow of H-1B foreign visa workers.

There are about 650,000 H-1B visa workers in the U.S. at any given moment. Americans are often laid off and forced to train their foreign replacements, as highlighted by Breitbart News. More than 85,000 Americans annually potentially lose their jobs to foreign labor through the H-1B visa program.

Analysis conducted in 2018 discovered that 71 percent of tech workers in Silicon Valley, California, are foreign-born, while the tech industry in the San Francisco, Oakland, and Hayward area is made up of 50 percent foreign-born tech workers. Up to 99 percent of H-1B visa workers imported by the top eight outsourcing firms are from India.

TechNet’s listed immigration goals include allowing corporations to dictate the annual level of legal immigration to the United States and the elimination of per-country caps that would effectively let India and China monopolize the U.S. green card system.

The group’s goals on trade are in direct opposition to President Trump’s economic nationalist agenda that has imposed tariffs on foreign imports from China, Canada, Europe, and other parts of the globe.

TechNet’s trade goals include reducing “tariff and non-tariff barriers to information, communications, and advanced energy technology products, services, and investments” as well as “protections for the free flow of data across borders…”

While Biden has vowed to flood the U.S. labor market with more foreign workers to compete against Americans for jobs, he has shied away from questions on whether he will eliminate tariffs on foreign imports that were imposed by Trump. Such elimination of tariffs would be a boon to multinational corporations that offshore their production and jobs overseas only to import their products back into the U.S. market, often with no penalties for doing so.

Obama Said Tea Party Movement Was Composed of 'Racist Motherf---ers,' According to New Book

·

Virginia Chamlee

Former President Barack Obama is openly not a fan of Donald Trump or of the Tea Party movement that preceded his rise — and according to a new book, he used choice words to describe both. The book, by Atlantic journalist Edward-Isaac Dovere, quotes Obama referring to Trump as a "f---ing lunatic" and saying the right-wing Tea Party movement was comprised of "racist motherf---ers."

In his forthcoming book Battle for the Soul: Inside the Democrats' Campaign to Defeat Trump, Dovere writes that the remark came after the Obama Foundation's 2017 holiday party in Chicago, when his staff asked how it felt "to be made out as an anticapitalist by the Republicans," despite the fact that he had previously worked with big banks and corporate leaders.

"Obama gave a long, reasoned answer," Dovere writes in the book, as reported by Business Insider. "As for the Tea Party, Obama said, well, they were 'racist motherf---ers.' "

The right-wing Tea Party movement sprouted up in 2009, and was at the time focused on undoing Obama's landmark health care law and enacting conservative fiscal policies.

According to Business Insider, Dovere writes that Obama, 59, referred to Trump, 74, as "a madman," and once said of his presidency: "I didn't think it would be this bad."

Obama also reportedly said of Trump: "I didn't think we'd have a racist, sexist pig," and referred to the former reality star as a "f---ing lunatic" and a "corrupt motherf---er" when it was reported that Trump had phone calls with foreign leaders without any American aides listening in.

As PEOPLE earlier reported for its 2017 cover story on the 44th president, Obama on election night 2016 privately called Trump "nothing but a bullshitter," according to sources close to the then-president.

Sources told PEOPLE the comment came while Obama was describing an election night phone call with Trump, in which the businessman suddenly professed his "respect" and "admiration" for his predecessor, following years of hectoring and promulgating the racist "birther" conspiracy theory.

Obama's opinion didn't seem to change much over the next four years, with the former president often criticizing Trump's tenure in office while campaigning for Joe Biden, his former vice president.

At an October 2020 drive-in rally for the then-Democratic nominee, Obama slammed Trump, saying he wasn't focusing on the well-being of the country and was instead only working to promote himself using a "reality show" style of politics.

"[Trump] hasn't shown any interest in doing the work or helping anybody but Obama Said Tea Party Movement Was Composed of 'Racist Motherf---ers,' According to New Book

Mean Divisive Obama Accuses Republicans of "Meanness and Division"

Biden's collapse and the implosion of the Democrats has been good news for Obama who is suddenly in demand again. From California and now to Virginia, the savior of hope and change has left off golfing to go back on the campaign trail for a series of weak candidates.

And all Obama has to offer is the same old weak gaslighting.

"We’re at a turning point right now, both here in America and around the world," Obama told a crowd of about 2,000 gathered outdoors on the campus of Virginia Commonwealth University. "Because there's a mood out there. There's a politics of meanness and division and conflict, of tribalism and cynicism."

Meanness, division, conflict, tribalism, and cynicism?

I wonder which prominent 21st-century occupant of the Oval Office helped normalize that kind of thing while breaking America?

Barack "We're gonna punish our enemies" Obama spent his national career pivoting from complaining about meanness and tribalism to practicing it. After building his occupation of the White House around tribal politics, cynical lies, and dividing Americans, he's back to pretending to deplore it.

As always the striking thing about ex-presidents is how tiresome their shtick has gotten over the years. Especially those we've had to endure for a full two terms.

In the years since, Obama has learned no new tricks and his routine has grown paler and weak. Everything is a turning point. The other side is mean and divisive, while his side is just trying to solve the big problems... with critical race theory, race riots, and funding their special interests.

Obama's tribalism and divisiveness broke America. His routine of playing destroyer and healer is what is truly cynical here.
